Now Presenting....

Daffodil Design!

It still needs to be blocked, but it will be awhile until I get to that. I hate blocking. The baptism is going to be around August, so I've got time.

I also finished my Tiger knee highs (love them- pictures soon) and one Glynis sock (hate it, not sure if I will make the other.)

Today I'm weaving.

Perhaps a better post later, I'm not sure.

  1. Is that knitted? it almost looks like lace. Beautiful!

Did you ever finish that clock knit?

  2. Yep- it's knitted. Lace can be made in lots of ways- tatting, bobbin lace, knitted lace, crochet lace.

This is considered "cop out" lace though- because it's not patterned on every row. Every other row is plain. Supposedly that makes it "easy".

And no, I had to start over on the clock kit because I read a direction wrong, and then I never started over. I should get that back in the queue!

  3. Yay! I'm glad you finally got through all that crochet edging, and it looks great. I am looking forward to seeing the blocked version :)
